one of the best things you can do is walk around with the bottle on the back of your hand. this will help you get the balance down. try moving your hand around to almost drop the bottle and then settle it back. i walked around my restaurant with my bottle on the back of my hand for days before i tried to do a stall.
the ezest stall i can do is a single flip onto the back of my hand. hold the bottle by the neck and back flip it onto the back of your hand. when you first start practicing the trick don’t bother catching the bottle on the back of your hand...just catch the bottle normally at the base, this will save the back of your hand from some pretty bad bruising till you get the throw down.
when landing the bottle on the back of your hand try to get the bottle to touch down on your hand when its still about 45 degrees off of straight up and down. when i wait till the bottle is vertical i find that it normally just want to role off my hand.
good luck
