Hey guys and gals, just wanting to pick your brains and get some feedback from those who reside here.
What do you think of the site as a whole?
What additions would you think would benefit the site?
Also thinking of introducing a small shop to sell flairschool branded merchandise at good prices, such as bottles, tins, shirts, hats, barblades etc. would you be interested, the prices would be competitive!
If I incorporated a low cost membership area help pay the bills what content would you guys want included? (as the site grows in popularity so do the bandwidth bills, the site currantly costs me, out of my own pocket around £500 a year, that figure will increase this year too?
Just looking at my stat history when i first started this site i used 160 megs worth of bandwidth, the figure for january was 19 gigabytes of traffic,, i must be doing something right!
Please reply and be as honest as you can, you dont have to kiss my butt , tell me like it is lol!
Look forward to reading your comments!
Cheers

i do actually love the site, no but kissing there. I wouldnt mind paying for a membership area if it was regularly updated, its been a while since new vids were added ie working flair. something similar to flairmoves.com would be great, id happily pay about £5-10 a month for something like that. love the idea of the merchandise, i really wouldnt mind brandishing a flairschool.com barblade about. if you started selling items that are hard to find over here it would be great. hope ive been helpfull to ya

I wouldnt be keen on paying for a membership for 5 - 10quid a month. However how about starting donations first Russ and if that doesnt prove too successful do a membership scheme. I would say do it about 25pound for the year. As then you only need about 20members to secure the funds.

Okie Cokie please dont take my critisism too hard. I've just done a website for a university project so I know how much of a bugger it can be
Well overall the site is grand, easy to navigate and apart from future elements not being fully operational I think you have a good site. However I do have two issues.
Firstly the music for the intro on that little gif. Its not nice. Can you not put a turn music off thingy there because it repeats itself constantly.
And the only other point is the sharp blue with white text is very overpowering. I think a slightly more darker royal blue would really set it off better.
But bar that I like it.

I know what you mean about the music, how annoying, that will be coming off next update lol!
The reason I used that blue was to tie in with blue in the logo (btw I've always been into bright colours for some reason) I will see what I can do!
I dont mind ppl speaking their mind, honesty is always best!
I thought about donations, but why would ppl pay for things they get for free, the only ppl who would give a little something would be the ones who actually respect what I am doing.
We will see how things go on that!
Cheers
Russ

Hey there guys/gals, How about something to spark daily insight.. everyday holidays it makes for great bar conversations. -n Russ: I think we should all try to 'meet' online at the same time or at least on the same day... Fourm Day. Most of us work weekends so Mondays or Tuesdays could be a good meeting day. What do you think?

Hey
Andy here from South Africa. I first logged onto the site and started flairing about 8 months ago. The video clips and explanations have really helped.
I, like most, I'm sure would like to see the site updated as often as possible and if a small fee per year would help that, I would certainly be prepared to pay.
As far as the equipment goes, i would definately buy as long as the prices are competitive as you said they would be. I usually order for my bar twice a year through barproducts.com but would be willing to give you the support.
I was also wondering if it would be worth creating a video clip page or something of the sort for members to upload their funny/terrible/entertaining/impressive clips of their own personal flairing antics. I would definately upload clips of myself in the hope to get some feedback and coaching from the guys in the know, who could crit me on what I'm doing right/wrong.

I'm probably your newset member at this time Ross, but to answer some of the old q's: I like the site I would also like vids of the ins and outs of training You NEED to have your small shop (hell, I'd buy from you just for your help here). Your "shop" would pay for all of your bills and you don't need to be "competive", just shave a buck or two off the others! Your site needs to be more popular as far as advertising- I only found it by mistake on youtube. Good luck bud. Traffic is GOING to increase. Espeacially if you advertise more. As it does, I would have no problem paying a couple bucks a month. Think about it if you advertise, and up your ante to around (even on the light side) 100 new members a month, thats still (@2.00) 200.$ a month you didn't have. Plus your stores' profits. I hope this at least helps your brains' needs. I also have a small buisness for handyman work and I'm trying to figure things out too. Best of luck and keep up the site and good work. Ben
