I've searched the forums, so I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but would it be a terrible idea to put mixers/juices in flair bottles to add one more element of flair to making a drink?

even though its possible, i wouldn't recommend it due to hygiene issues, why not master your moves with your flair bottles and then use 'set up' bottles behind the bar.
Set up bottles are real glass bottles with just 1 or 2 shots of liquid in each, this not only allows you to flair without spilling but in the event that you drop then you are not wasting lots of alcohol.

I agree - use real glass.
Mike can cover this further, but the inside of a flair bottle isn't perfect. You can put water into it to practice though.
I use to put juice into old malibu bottles and strip of the outside, but I just use store and pours now.

As the Flairco bottles are made with high quality plastic, there aren't really any health issues to putting juices inside them. However, I would still suggest using glass bottles for your juices, if only to show your guests exactly what they are getting.
