Tony, honeslty I live in NYC, and the closest flair thing around here is actually in Long Island, unless you're in Vegas i dont think there are too many flair schools around period. Plus the majority of us are self taught. Get some of the Dean Serneels videos. Trust me, rather than pay someone, see how much you can learn by yourself first. You'll probably be surprised.

to be fair all of the flair bartenders i know (well at least most of em) are self taught with advice and occasional help from other flair enthusiasts. because flair is all personal style the majority of it is best to be learnt alone

tottaly agree with silver. self teaching is the way to go. if your having trouble on a certain move set up a video camera and judge your self. dont wait untill your so frustrated you throw a shaker tin at the roof. lol (wev all been there)

I thought this was fitting and a bit ironic at the same time considering what wev been talking about lately. I was practiceing on this mat that i use at home which is prety bouncy, anyway managed to drop a shaker which then bounced off this mat to over head height and hit the curtain. thats not so bad your thinking, untill i bent down to pick up my shaker and the wohle damn curtain came down in front of me. hope someone gets a laugh out of this
