Hi, i knw there have been quite a few posts on how to do the around the world trick, but they all seem to be about perfecting it. I cant even get close to perfecting it.
Iv tryed with the bottle and a tennis ball but i can never get it to come back over my shoulder. It either comes under my shoulder and arm or just goes of behind me.
i watched loads of videos on the net, but still cant do it.
Has anyone got any tips on how to start to learn the around the world.
thanks lucas

one of the best descriptions on how to get the around world throw correct and get the bottle to come over the shoulder is this....
what you need to do is to 'chicken wing' your arm, the easiest way to know what this looks like is (in a bit of a camp style) is to place the back of your hand on your hip, this will ensure that your elbow is parallel to your shoulder, this is the position you should be in when you let go of the bottle
now when you release the bottle you are wanting to flick it (rather than throw it) with your wrist, release the bottle as late as possible, and hopefully it should flip over your shoulder as planned, it may take practice but you will get it feeling natural before long Im sure.
Post back with any more queries or to tell us how you are getting on!

yeh know what you mean. I recently got it a few weeks back. Don't know what your doing for it to hit your armpits but throwing it over the back fence is something i can relate to. You need to concentrate on throwing straight up into the air rather than backwards. Just try it a few times. Imagine the bottle going up not out backwards. After its going up you want it to come back in front. I hope you don't have athritis in your wrists because your gonna need these. Best I can put it is rather than locking your wrists flick towards your front right as your releasing the bottle.
You're probably world number one by now because this topic is 11 months old but for any other newbies this is what you do.
