Ive been bartending for about a year now mostly in bars and restaurants and I really wanna start working in clubs but how do I do that? Main problem is they are closed in the day and busy during the night so its hard to get face to face with a manager. Does anyone have any advice for me?

A new club has just opened up near me and they advertised for bar staff so i went and met up with the manager to discuss wages and they would not budge from paying me exactly the same as people who had never worked the bar before. Couldn't believe it all i wanted was a quid an hour more. Never mind still working in the pub which is wicked fun.

i was quite lucky in mine, (cos i work in a club) cos i was chattin up a girl in a club ages ago who turned out to be the house mate of the assistant manager of the club i work at now. the agm offered me a job the next time we were out but thats obiously not the most orthadox or easiest way to get a job. most clubs will have a manager in between 12-4 most weekdays. you could always give them a ring or email to set up a meeting.
