In a shot glass 1oz of orange flavored vodka
In a rocks glass 2-3oz of Redbull
Drop the full shot glass of vodka into the Redbull glass and chug it back! Sooooo tasty and you get the full oz of alcohol with no worries of being short poured or diluted with shaking. Which is good if you are a patron at another bar.
If people ask me for suggestions this is one of my go-tos simply because you get to sell them the shot and the redbull, so you increase your sales. Plus it tastes amazing so people will come back to you to make it again and again.
Also if you set multiple shots up you can entertain your guests with a domino trick.
This requires placing the redbull filled rocks glasses in a row (they have to be touching each other rim to rim) and resting the shots of vodka on the rims of two glasses in the row. (note: the first rocks glass will be empty as no shot will be falling into it. It's purpose is just to balance the first vodka shot so it can fall into the next glass) Once you have them all set up in a straigtht line you can push the first shot over into the redbull and it will, in turn, push the next into the next rocksglass and so on... creating a domino effect
(hopefully you can visualize the set up because this is crucial to having all the shots fall in without stopping halfway)
Another couple of really fantastic simple shooters are as follows...
- half oz of vanilla vodka and half oz of butter ripple schnapps in a shot glass (tastes like cake mix)
- a third oz of red sourpuss, a third oz of mellon liquer, and a third oz or banana liquer. (Its fruity and not too strong)
- In a shaker combine 1part blue curaco, 1part butter ripple schnapps, and one part milk. Shake over ice and strain into shot glasses. Finish with a drizzle of grenadine in each shot (it should sink to the bottom and nicely color the bottom of the shot red) I've heard it called a dead smirff, but either way it tastes great!
These are just a few, but they all are pretty safe bets and they wont get that disgusted alcohol burning face (picture 'bitter beer' face here) from your patrons that you get when someone orders a shot of jack straight up.
