I was just thinking how cool it would be to be flipping a *clear* flair bottle. All the benefits of flipping glass (cool look), and none of the worries of breaking. Would that be possible?

Im sure mike will pipe up on this one to offer more details about producing a clear flairco (it aint easy I'll tell ya!).
Have you tried the Skyy Flairco, that really does look like an original Skyy bottle, so the chance of people noticing when you whip it out and start throwing it about, but they probably will when you drop and its dos'nt make that 'smashing ' sound ;D

I've played with the skyy bottle (don't own one, yet), but I hate it... NO NECK! I do all my tricks off the neck :-p
I'll probably be picking those up sometime in the future anyway.

Set Yourself a challange, get a Skyy bottle goof about with it for afew hours, learn all your tricks with a 'no neck' bottle!
Do you know how easy it would be to do your tricks with a bottle witha good neck after this!
In a working environment no two bottles are the same so you need to practice with all kinds of bottles if you are gonna be a flair God! ;D
Cheers

I love my skyy bottles, they are most like the bottles commonly used at my bar, and the weighting is great! They also look a damn sight better, but yeah, a clear flair bottle would be great (although the plastic does get tin marks, unlike glass, and that would make it less and less clear) I'm sure they have tried to make one many times, and i'm sure someday they will succeed.

Yes, we have been working on a clear bottle for some time now, but don't have a finished product that matches the quality we want in our products. If we wanted to mass produce a sort of smoky clear bottle, we could do so tomorrow. But, our goal is crystal clear, with the same quality, balance and weight as our regular Flairco bottles. The biggest problem is the thickness of the plastic. There just isn't anything that is perfectly clear at 1cm (1/2") thick. But rest assured, we are always trying new ideas and eventually will have this product on the market.
