Basically the bottle is held in a regular grip, with the base towards the ground the arm takes the bottle round the back of your head, as it comes round to meet the shoulder the body of the bottle is rested on the shoulder/arm and then released. The bottle travels along the arm and is flicked off the wrist or forearm and caught in the same hand.
I can't figure out if theres something in the motion to carry the bottle along the arm or if the neck of the bottle is given a bit of a twist in the fingers as its released??
Any help?

I don't know this move, but I would think it would roll down on its own. I'm sure it's in one fluid motion, so there would be a little momentum to help carry the bottle down the arm. Not sure, but I will attempt this and get back to ya....
Cheers.

ok pretty easy really... its all about finding the ballance point... this should be the bit that sits on your shoulder, usually just below the botton of the neck, and i believe you should be holding it in a reverse grip rather than a regular one... this is how i do it anyway... practise rolling a bottle down your arm normally first, once you find the ballance point you should be able to do it with ease

I'm still getting to grips with this one too - but Will is right it all hinges on the balance point - ie which part of the bottle touches your arm. Obviously if it falls down one side then its too far over.
I also use a reverse grip otherwise it prob looks awkward.
The balance point on an empty flairco is just below the neck.

Totally nailed this trick now, its actually easier to use a Luxado sambuca bottle with liquid in than any of my practise bottles?!?!
Seems weird but I guess its whatever works, Im using loads of the Lux. Sambuca bottles for practise as we go through it more than water, they bounce about 7 times before destruction, and are great for my glass confidence.
