My brother once taught a student bartender how to produce a vodka bottle magically by using the element of a flash of fire. However, the student was not careful enough, he brought it too close to the split-second burst of flame, and the heat eventually weakened the bottle. As he flaired prior to pouring for the cocktail, his bottle cracked into pieces.
Although it is not clearly established whether or not it was the flame that caused it, or maybe the impact of his solid finger ring, one thing is sure it is frustrating finding yourself in such a precarious situation. If you were in the case flairing, what would you do?
Are there alternative bottle production tricks you can suggest?
